DCCOL Summit

The Summit on Accommodating Students with Disabilities in Online Learning will bring together the most experienced individuals and programs in supporting online learners with disabilities. The goal is to share policies and practices, successful strategies and proven pitfalls, and to shape a program of action that will help the distance education community embrace students with disabilities as viable online learners.

Over the course of two days, participants will hear brief presentations to introduce topics of interest/concern, followed by guided discussion of key questions and issues surrounding that topic. A tentative list of topics includes:

The Summit will be held at the Concourse Hotel on the grounds of the Port Columbus (Ohio) airport. There are five hotels located within a one block radius, all connected by shuttle, giving participants a range of options for hotel price/amenities. More information will be provided upon registration.

Participation Fee:

A $100 participation fee will be the only cost to participants. That fee will help offset the cost of meeting room rental, two full lunches and refreshments during Breaks, and all printed materials.
